  17. <In the last two weeks or so, my Microsoft serial mouse has started
  18. <having increasingly severe tracking problems. The pointer sometimes
  19. <moves an inch or two to the left or right as I slowly move the mouse
  20. <along. It jumps as far when I try to click on an object or icon. In
  21. <the last few days, I've hardly been able to click on an icon without
  22. <having to guess where the pointer is going to jump.

  24. I had a similar problem, called Microsoft after my tech people couldn't 
  25. figure ir out, and MS said to send it back...they sent a replacement
  26. free of charge and indictated the mice now had a lifetime warranty.
