- Hello,
-
- I'm having trouble getting 1meg ATI Graphics Ultra cards to
- work with windows.
-
- I have 10 PC Brand 486/33MHz machines each with one of the above
- cards installed. When I start windows, more often than not,
- I'm confronted with a white screen. If I go into setup and
- select the 800x600x10 video driver that came with windows, windows
- then works fine. I also have the same problem if I use the 8514
- driver that came with Windows. This would lead me to believe
- that the problem is related to the coprocessor.
-
- I've excluded memory locations A000-C7FF in my config.sys and
- system.ini as suggested by ATI, but this fails to help.
-
- Also, I am using the more recent ATI drivers, I just downloaded
- them from the ATI BBS last week.
-
- Any similar experiences or advice would be greatly
- appreciated.
