- I just bought one. They are sold by a company called "New Technologies";
- phone: 800-998-0170. I'm using exactly the config you describe, and it
- seems fine -- and quite fast. The drivers are very recent (1/12/93).
- Note: I found that the factory default setting for the DIP switches would
- not work on my machine. If I had the BIOS width set to the factory default
- (on), (i.e., 8 bit mode, so it says), then
- my machine would not recognize the hard drive. This was very
- confusing because the manual claims that this is supposed the maximum
- compatible mode for the card. I changed the switch to off, then it seemed
- to work fine. My total cost, including shipping from CA to Seattle, was
- $187.00
