  12. I was wondering if anyone had information on Microsoft C 6.0.  The
  13. company I am working for is still using Microsoft C 5.1 because they
  14. maintain that 6.0 was very buggy and did not work properly.  The thing
  15. is, they are not using any optimizer switches on the 5.1 compiler because
  16. they apparently don't work correctly.

  18. Might there be a 6.1 version of  the compiler, or some sort of patch
  19. release that fixes any/some of the bugs in 6.0?  Is anyone aware of a
  20. published list of known bugs in 5.1, or 6.0?

  22. Please don't respond with a suggestion to use MSC/C++ 7.0, as the
  23. owner of the company is not willing to switch to a compiler which supports
  24. C++ right now.  (Don't ask me why, but that's his feeling).
