  15. 1. Choice of Ethernet Card to be used with Minix 1.5 PC
  16.    I am writing to ask whether I can obtain some details regarding to the 
  17.    relation of Minix 1.5 PC and Ethernet.  Could you kindly give any
  18.    suggestions to enable networking over Ethernet in order to build a
  19.    distributed system.  Please may you also clarify the Ethernet cards
  20.    manufacturer, product number and ethernet controller chip part
  21.    number on the board.

  23. 2. Problem with Western Digital Ethernet controller chips
  24.    However, I have two Western Digital Ethercard Plus Elite cards,
  25.    which is also known as WD8003EP.  The currently available cards
  26.    no longer use the DP8390 Network  Interface Controller chip, instead
  27.    the WD83C690 is used.  Could you please kindly give any suggestions 
  28.    to enable networking on MINIX 1.5 PC and use those Ethernet cards.
