  20. I was just trying to install symlink on MacMinix 1.5.10.7... and a patch hunk
  21. failed :(....

  23. When the patch failed, I surmised that a) if I try to install symlink on
  24. 1.5.10.7, some patches will fail and b) if I install it on 1.5.10.0 and
  25. then try to upgrade to 1.5.10.7, the _upgrade_ patches will probably fail.

  27. Anyone know for sure? Anyone have 1.5.10.7 w/symbolic links that can point
  28. me in the right direction?

  30. I'm primarily interested because I want to compile gcc 2.3.3 (the latest and
  31. greatest) and can't even configure it. A coupla nice folx sent me some i386
  32. stuff, but I doubt this would produce the right code for my machine.
