  14. I've just set up MINIX 1.5 on my PC-AT..and I'm having some problems:

  16. o  When setting up the /etc/ttys file, I want to have the extra terminal
  17.    hanging off of /dev/tty2...so in /etc/ttys I have:
  18.     
  19.     100  (console)
  20.     001  (modem)
  21.     102  (terminal)
  22.  
  23.    The problem I'm having is that when I stty in /etc/rc, it will only 
  24.    set the baud rate, not the bits, etc (so the bits keep coming out 5, instead
  25.    of 8)

  27. o  Secondly, I haven't quite got the kernel re-compiled, I'm having a problem
  28.    in /usr/src/tools when trying to:

  30.     asld -0 menu menu.s menu1.s $l/libc.a $l/end.s
  31.  
  32.    I get errors that appear as:

  34.     menu1.s, 18: too big
  35.     trp.s, 95: too big
  36.     make error: 256 
  37.  
  38.    I've tried chmem to increase the memory size of asld, make and sh...
  39.    I've also tried:

  41.     make -n >script
  42.     sh < script
  43.  
  44.    and I get the same error !!
