- Yep - I just took the driver for the Commodore controllers and made the
- changes for the DMA control. The Commodore and GVP controllers are quite
- similar since they both use the same Western Digital SCSI chip. The primary
- differences are in the DMA control interface. I do have a driver I wrote
- for my homebuilt SCSI interface that includes some error checking and
- support for SCSI tapes. I want to change the Commodore & GVP drivers to
- include the same features my driver has. I was also thinking that since
- the Commodore and GVP drivers were so similar, they could be combined and
- the appropriate vendor-specific code conditionally compiled.

-
- I seem to remember that the answer to that question was that the FAQ
- reflected the PH distributed version, although I would think that the FAQ
- could indicate that the 680x0 and hard disk support was available with
- the update patches.
