  13.   I just recently installed unix onto my 486 and I'm having a couple of
  14. problems.

  16. 1. Sometimes when I try to open a file with ELVIS (vi) I get a 
  17.    "<file> is busy" message from the shell.

  19. 2. After being online for a couple of hours, the screen freezes and 
  20.    in the middle of the screen I get the msg "alarm clock".  The keyword then
  21.    locks up and I will have the reboot.

  24. Anybody have any insights on these problems.
