- I'd like to use X under Linux, but my Diamond Stealth SVGA card is
- not supported by X386 or XS3. I need to get a new SVGA card, but
- it needs to have the following criteria:
-
- * About as fast the Diamond Stealth VRAM
- * Must be VESA compliant (must have 15 pin "feature" adapter to connect
- to my video capture board)
- * must be capable of 1024x768 res, 256 colors, both interlaced & non-interlaced
- * must have Microsoft Windows 3.1 drivers (of course)
- * must work with a free X driver and Linux
-
- I can't seem to find a board on the market that does all of this.
- The ATI Graphics Ultra VLB is supposed to, but it's not available yet,
- and will cost more than 3 times as much as the Diamond Stealth.
-
- Is anyone using a fast, VESA compliant SVGA card with X and Linux?
