  12. Ok, my *OTHER* problem is getting the networking to work correctly.
  13. I've gotten as far as having my loopback work.  It fails in the named
  14. and the nfsd setup upon boot, and neither of my machines will talk to
  15. one another.

  17. Also, even though my machine is defined in /etc/hosts (which is a link
  18. from /etc/inet/hosts) and the file is world-readable, I can't refer to
  19. it as "wefunk", only as 128.0.0.1?
  20.  
  21. So, can anyone explain what I need to do to allow these two to talk
  22. together via telnet?  I'd be using the advanced telnet package for the
  23. PC, by the by, on my other box.
