- I upgraded my system to the new SLS and now my ftpd broke... Here's what
- happens:
-
- Connected to netrats.dayton.saic.com.
- 220 netrats FTP server (Version 5.60) ready.
- Name (netrats:gbothe): gbothe
- 530 User gbothe access denied.
- Login failed.
- Remote system type is UIX.
- Using binary mode to transfer files.
- ftp> quit
- 221 Goodbye.
-
- Whenever I try to login as a real user, I get a 'login failed'. However, if I
- log in as 'anonymous', everything works fine. And when I try to log in as a
- user who doesn't exist, it asks me for a password (as it should). So my
- problem is that my ftpd (from net-bin-0.2) will not let me log in as a real
- user... Help would be appreciated...
