- To whom it may concern:
-
- I saw the follow question several times recently:
-
- I use SLS 0.99.2. I noticed that I can't use ps because
- the proc device is not mounted.
- How cat I fix this problem?
-
- It is a faq, but it does not appear in the current Linux faq.
- I got the same problem, too. It turned out that I commented out
- the line:
- none /proc proc defaults
- in the /etc/fstab by mistake.
-
- Would you please add it to the Linux FAQ list and
- the manual pages of "ps", "free", "uptime" etc. ?
- (I think these are two sources that people would look at
- first when they get the error message).
-
- Thanks!
