- Hello.
-
- I hope that someone could please send me a reply in netmail with the answer to the following questions:
-
- I have the distribution disks of GCC2.3.3, written them raw with rawrite.
-
- Everything seems to be OK.
-
- Now, the following questions must be answered before I can really use it:
-
- 1. What are the environment variables I have to set?
- 2. When typing 'cc' i get the message
- "cc: can't load library '/lib/libc.so.4' Incompatible version"
- When checking /lib, I see that there is a link from libc.so.4 to
- libc.so.4.1, which is really huge!, namel607236 bytes.
- Thing is, that I really do not know how I obtained this file,
- let alone am able to check if it is a 'compatible version' or not.
- Where can I find the right libc.so.4 in binary form?
-
- Thanks in advance and keep on hacking.
-
- Rene.
