  10. I am having a problem with the ftp daemon.  I upgraded my system to the new
  11. SLS, but my ftp daemon broke...  I cannot login at all, this is what I get:

  13. 220 netrats FTP server (Linux netrats 0.99.pl4-48 01/26/93 i386) ready.

  16. 221 Server shutting down.

  19. Sometimes I get a 'unsuccessful login' instead...  I've tried everything,
  20. including the protection on the files...  I have the passwd and group files in
  21. /home/ftp/etc, I have ls in /home/[Cftp/bin, I have an ftpd directory in the
  22. spool directory.  Any help??  (I've also tried the ftpd that comes with SLS --
  23. same problem).
