  14.     While trying to compile the PICO editor, I got as far as the final
  15. link with just a few warnings when GCC burbs with:
  16.     ld: premature end of file in strings of main.o
  17. I don't have any GCC error listings, and TURBO C++ doesn't seem to have the
  18. word /premature/ anywhere.
  19.     I am hoping that someone in the know would not mind informing me as 
  20. to what's happening here.
  21.     I have 99pl3, and am compiling these files on a DOS partition, if it
  22. matters.
