  14. I am thinking about putting together my Linux system using either the
  15. ISA or EISA motherboard currently offered by A.I.R.  Both models
  16. (AIR486UV and AIR486EI) have three VESA local bus slots and a
  17. write-back cache.

  19. I have read the FAQ and hardware compatibility list and don't see any
  20. mention of this company, so I thought I'd ask everyone.  If you don't
  21. have any direct knowledge, I'd appreciate ideas on testing this
  22. motherboard for compatibility before I buy it.  I can take a hard
  23. drive in to the shop that has Linux installed, but what should I try
  24. before I'm sure it works?  Thanks for any suggestions,
