  22. Correct.  That is what the manual says.

  24. However, because of a bug in 3.63 and a change in how variables are
  25. expanded before being placed in the environment, the manual is *WRONG*.

  27. I have a new patch from FSF to correct this problem, and I will be building
  28. new binaries and placing the new patch in the *.Notes file soon.
