  15. I'm looking for a working version of rlogin and the talk stuff.
  16. Currently the last rlogin and talk/talkd from SLS are lying brake
  17. on my HD. rsh works fine in and out of my Linux-box. rlogin works
  18. into it, but I don't get out (rlogin: connection closed). I DO have
  19. a .rhost file (otherwise rsh would have complained). Someone out there
  20. got it working??

  22. Then there is the talk/talkd. Talk gives me a  "[No connection yet]" (quite
  23. normal), then
  24. : [Checking for invitation on caller's machine]
  25. : Alarm clock
  26. And that's it. No ring on the other machine.
  27. When someone tries to get into my machine, there is no
  28. alarm clock (might be a local configuration) and nothing happens. My inetd.conf
  29. file looks like
