  12.  I would like to know if there is some linux utility to make shared libs from
  13. archive libs. Or is there a doc that describes how this is done?
  14.  I am trying to create a shared library (both classic and jump table type)
  15. from an X-widgets library but could not find any utility to do this 
  16. (such as mkshlib that SYSV uses).
  17.  I would appreciate any input on this. Thanks.
