- Hello, everyone! Again, I turn to net-wisdom for the solution to my problem.
-
- I have a 120MB IDE Drive and 500MB SCSI Drive on my 386/33 with 8MB RAM.
- I've been trying to install Linux and DOS on these drive with no success.
-
- What I am trying to do basically is this:
-
- First Drive: 120MB IDE
- 100MB extended Linux file system
- 20MB linux file system for swap file
- Second Drive: 500MB SCSI
- 500MB Dos partition
-
- If you can tell me what order and how I should install these systems, it would
- be greatly appreciated.
-
- I tried the following and failed.
-
- 1. Pulled out IDE Drive.
- 2. Installed DOS on SCSI drive.
- 3. Put back IDE Drive.
- 4. Installed Linux on IDE drive.
- 5. Installed Lilo 0.8 with correct configuration (I think)
- 6. Linux boots fine.
- 6. DOS complains non-system disk.
-
- Thanks for any info.
