  15. Hello, everyone!  Again, I turn to net-wisdom for the solution to my problem.

  17. I have a 120MB IDE Drive and 500MB SCSI Drive on my 386/33 with 8MB RAM.
  18. I've been trying to install Linux and DOS on these drive with no success.
  19.  
  20. What I am trying to do basically is this:

  22.     First Drive: 120MB IDE
  23.         100MB extended Linux file system
  24.         20MB linux file system for swap file
  25.     Second Drive: 500MB SCSI
  26.         500MB Dos partition
  27.  
  28. If you can tell me what order and how I should install these systems, it would
  29. be greatly appreciated.

  31. I tried the following and failed.
  32.  
  33.     1. Pulled out IDE Drive.
  34.     2. Installed DOS on SCSI drive.
  35.     3. Put back IDE Drive.
  36.     4. Installed Linux on IDE drive.
  37.     5. Installed Lilo 0.8 with correct configuration (I think)
  38.     6. Linux boots fine.
  39.     6. DOS complains non-system disk.
