  27. I definetly am! I myself was considering to make some kind of manual
  28. to help newbies getting started. Especially to help them getting an idea
  29. of how Unix works. I.e. what happens when the OS is booting, what files are
  30. involved and how one can customize the system. Or some hints to very dangerous
  31. commands like "rm -r *", or how to get the printer producing output, etc.
  32. Since I consider myself kind of a newbie, although I'm working with Unix for
  33. quite a while, the idea was to log my solutions and understandings while I'm
  34. improving my knowledge of the system. Maybe we can put our manpower together
  35. to create such a beast. Let me know how you think about it.
