  26. The source code to a program to _read_ HPFS partitions, in a limited
  27. sense, can be found on ftp.uu.net (in the published/windowsdos/1991
  28. directory as part of the july (I think) issue.) or I will send copies
  29. of the source to anyone who sends me an email request.

  31. The program scans an HPFS partition and locates a file which it then
  32. dumps to stdout.  It would make a good basis for at least
  33. a read-only HPFS implementation for Linux.  I'm willing to help
  34. anyone who wants to work on such an implementation.... the source
  35. code is fairly clear, but I'm sure that it will take some
  36. time to develop.
