- When I try using bootlin at the start of my autoexec.bat, it happily proclaims
- "Booting Linux.............................................done"
- and then does a cold reboot :-(
- If I try running bootlin at a DOS prompt, then I get a message
- "Bootlin loaded too high in memory" and then it hangs.
- (I have about 580k free memory according to MS-DOS 5.0's mem command)
-
- Fortunately, however, I have been able to get bootlin to work correctly by
- putting SHELL=BOOTLIN IMAGE in my config.sys. Then I use a program called
- "mboot" to select the appropriate config.sys file at boot time.
- But it would be quite convenient if I could just run bootlin from a DOS
- prompt, because it would be considerably faster than having to reboot.
- Any ideas?
