- Sounds like maybe your name server isn't set up right. Mine used to do that
- too, but now I just tell it to ship all requests to another machine which
- is our nameserver anyway. Then I tell it, of course, where to look for that
- one machine and viola!

- On a somewhat similar subject, how does one get ftpd running to understand
- shadow passwords? I am only assuming the problem is in ftpd, but it's just
- a logical choice.

- Last, but not least, where does one find the sources to portmap? I can
- get it from 386bsd, but I am not sure it'll compile straight off.
