- I am currently trying to run X11 on a SuperX VGA card by boca. It has
- A video chip manufactured by Cirrus Logic and I believe the chip is GD5422
- the chip has stenciled on it:
- CIRRUS LOGIC
- CL GD5422-75QC-A
- 11189-191AE
-
- The card has one MEG of memory and supports up to 1280x1024. I can get it
- running in 640x480 mono and that is it. If I try to run it in color at any
- resolution I get a weird display problem where I have about 6 or 8 cursors.
- If I try to run at 800x600 mono the screen gets very screwed up and it looks
- like I can only move about 3/4 of the way across(if I follow one of the many
- cursors across the screen it goes from the left side 3/4 of the way to the
- right.
-
- I really have no idea what to do and I am not that fond of black and white.
- If anyone knows how to fix it any help will be appreciated.
-
- thanks
