- I am running SLS 99p2 on a Gateway 486 with 20 meg ram and a
- SMC Elite 8013 enet card ( I don't know if that means anything...)
- My problem is that after running for 24 hours or so, a 'ps' will
- show zombie portmap processes lying around. The process ID's of
- the zombies are always higher than the running portmap. I configured
- my inet setup pretty much out-the-box, except i am using the campus-wide
- nameserver instead of named.
-
- Anybody have any ideas what is going on? Any help would be ap-
- preciated. If this is a FAQ i'm sorry, but I couldn't find it.
