- Your file called "install.out.do" is actually "install.bbs.dontuse"
- ^^^^^^^
- with its title truncated. The install script if for SunOS, so you have to
- install manually. The binaries were all included in the version of pbbs
- that I got from Sunsite (I don't know which dir). I don't have the thing
- fully configured yet, so I can't give it a review.
-
- I agree that a bbs system still has its purposes under unix. I am setting
- pbbs up mostly to allow people who aren't familiar with Unix (there are a
- few, you know, out there in the real world) to download and try Linux. I
- will also be offering regular unix accounts, but the average DOS user
- won't have a clue at least until they know a few basic commands.
