  40. Try looking in /usr/X386/lib/X11/etc/modeDB.txt.  That's the current database
  41. as of the release of X that you're running.  A new version will be issued
  42. with XFree86 1.2 in a couple of weeks.  There are fewer than a dozen new
  43. entries in it since 1.1 was released in October.  If people don't send
  44. me entries, they don't go into the database.
