- I have version 3.18 (12-07-91) of the szrz package of programs. I'm using
- the latest minicom with all patches applied. The szrz package has a diff
- file, szrz9202.dff that I've applied successfully as well. The minicom
- code has a Readme.szrz file that suggests a hand-patch to get the szrz
- programs to send their output through the stdout rather than /dev/tty.
- These patches are either superceded by the diff file, or are pointless,
- due to the improvements in the diff file. Nonetheless, I've tried applying
- these patches and they, too, fail.
-
- Here is a quickie sample of my terminal dialog:
-
- (remote) rz
- (local) ^AS , choose zmodem, then type the name of the file to send
-
- At this point neither remote nor local system will send anything over the
- modem. Both print out a B00000000-type of number and wait.
-
- I've also set RZSZLINE=/dev/ttys0 in my /etc/profile and done an export
- RZSZLINE in that file also. I can type set before I run minicom and the
- variable is present.
-
- Anybody got any suggestions pertaining to what I'm doing wrong? I feel
- like I'm missing a step or something. No doubt there's something little I
- missed.
-
- BTW: if you answer by mail, make a note of my NEW mailing address...our
- system here got a real domain name recently: cyberspace.org and the mail
- has been all screwed up. :o
-
- Thanks ahead of time,
- -Jeff. :)
