- I don't know if I'm the only person left in the world who hasn't gotten
- lilo to work with the .99p3/2.3.3 combo, but I felt that I had better
- ask.
-
- I had lilo installed earlier with .99p2/2.2.2d. I felt brave and
- patched my kernel and installed 2.2.2d and the new 4.2 library.
- Everything worked after reboot, so I rebuilt the kernel and used lilo to
- install it. That worked fine. Following that, I changed the kernel
- config and recompiled. Next, I did a 'make clean' in my lilo source
- directory followed by a make. The make fails on map.c with:
-
- map.c: In function `map_done':
- map.c:49: storage size of `st' isn't known
- map.c:57: warning: implicit declaration of function `fstat'
- map.c:58: warning: int format, different type arg (arg 2)
- map.c:49: warning: unused variable `st'
- make: *** [map.o] Error 1
-
- Does this explain what is happening? I'm still having serious serial
- problems, but I don't expect that is related.
-
- Thanks,
- David
