  13. I untarred the Linux kernel sources for .99pl3 and when I ran 'Configure'
  14. I get a    "./Configure  Permission Denied."  When the file was orginally 
  15. untarred, it had a user number 184 associated with it (which I don't have),
  16. so I changed it to root.  But still only I have rw---------- permissions on 
  17. it, and can't seem to run the script.
