- Well, thanks to a lot of time wasted on technical support for my
- WD-7000FASST2 SCSI controller card and its non-standard partitioning and
- actually talking to the engineer that wrote the partitioning scheme, my
- SCSI device is recognized. It turned out that by not specifically removing
- the non-standard partition it left the partition table moved over 50
- sectors, so nothing could read it but dos (which the ROM BIOS redirected).
-
- It was all working fine till I installed my new IDE drive. Now with my IDE
- as primary drive, SLS disk a1 no longer detects my controller card or my
- SCSI devices correctly. I get 0 SCSI 0 cd-rom, etc... I also get the line
-
- Warning WD8013 card not found at i/o=280
-
- I assume the WD8013 is a network adapter. I have no idea why its not
- detecting correctly, but I've done several hours of tinkering with no luck.
-
- Any help will be greatly appreciated.
