  12. Well, I have Aztec C 1.06d and I have two versions of the compiler.

  14.      'CC' generates 8080 code only
  15.      'CZ' generates Z80 code in 'extended Intel' format
  16.  
  17. As someone once pointed out, the Z80 compiler really doesn't take full
  18. advantage of the Z80's instruction set.  I ran a small program through
  19. both and didn't see any difference in the output.

  21. Besides, the library routines would have to all be in 8080 code anyway.
