  24. I'll second that. I my experience most runtime errors that users of a
  25. Smalltalk system encounter are of the type: UndefinedObject>doesNotUnderstand.
  26. This is very often caused by what you in C++ would call a null-pointer. 
  27. No current type system helps you find null-pointers.
