- Morning all
-
- I was so knocked out with the sounds of the Roland scc-1 card that I bought
- another - the idea being that I could pre-determine my own note preferences,
- note overflow, potter with the voice parameters and still have an original,
- and generally not run out voices, etc...Problem is, I can't talk to the
- second card!
-
- I am using a 386 with Voyetra SP Gold. The first card is set up as the midi
- interface as well as a tone generator, the second card I want to act purely
- as a tone generator. I know I could run a midi cable from one to the
- other - but that kind of defeats the object in as much as:
-
- 1 - I want the least clutter as possible...and
-
- 2 - this won't allow me to access both cards with different info, on
- the same channel
-
- So - (I know, get to the point...) I want to to access each card from a
- different port.
-
- I have set the second card up as IRQ 2 to 7, and even disabled the IRQ by
- removing the jumper - no luck, Voyetra can't find it.
-
- I have installed Voyetra to 'find' the second scc-1 as an ibm MFC - still no
- luck...
-
- Therfore - does any one have any ideas? (printable ones...), or have a fax
- number for Roland in the USA?
-
- Thanx in advanx - Richard
