- I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has had experience with
- MusicTeX. I found that as soon as I tried to use the commands for automatic
- beam alignment, things started to go awry. The problem I encountered was that
- it seemed to be computing the same horizontal displacement whether the stems
- went up or down. Since stems going up have different horizontal positions than
- stems going down (right and left of the note body), this throws off the
- alignment pretty badly. I would be happy to send copies of my sample code
- to anyone who things they can get this to work. Meanwhile, I have gone back
- to making PICT files from Finale and importing them into OzTeX on my Macintosh.
