- My wife bought a MAC Quadra 700 with a NEC CD drive. We can play
- CD-ROM software fine (ie Broderbund stuff like __Grandma and Me__).
-
- My question is related to Audio CDs. Whenever we place an audio CD
- in the CD drive (we want to create an Audioshop playlist) we get a
- pop-up window saying that the disk is not in Macintosh format. It
- asks if I want to configure it, which of course fails.
-
- I suspect that the NEC driver is bad. I get the same results
- when I try and use the built-in CD player that came with the
- Quadra from the "apple" pulldown menu.
-
- Any ideas? We are new to the Macintosh environment.

- Thanks
