  11. My wife bought a MAC Quadra 700 with a NEC CD drive.  We can play 
  12. CD-ROM software fine (ie Broderbund stuff like __Grandma and Me__).

  14. My question is related to Audio CDs.  Whenever we place an audio CD
  15. in the CD drive (we want to create an Audioshop playlist) we get a
  16. pop-up window saying that the disk is not in Macintosh format.  It 
  17. asks if I want to configure it, which of course fails.

  19. I suspect that the NEC driver is bad.  I get the same results
  20. when I try and use the built-in CD player that came with the 
  21. Quadra from the "apple" pulldown menu.

  23. Any ideas?  We are new to the Macintosh environment.
