- SC 29 N 147 isn't the document number. SC 29 is the subcommittee and... I
- really have no idea what N 147 is (sorry). But the document number is
- definitely ISO/IEC CD 11172-1. The reason that Roger did not find this
- in his catalog is that this document is currently in Committee Draft
- stage (that's the _CD_ in the document number). I think that once a document
- hits CD, you can only buy it through ANSI or ISO (or become an active member
- of the committee ;-). When it is a standard, it will be referred to as
- IS11172:199x, where 199x is the year that it became an ISO Information
- Standard.

- BTW: I have nothing to do with MPEG, but it is referenced in another
- ISO document that I happened to have on my desk.
