  19. Yes, something like what is used to process CFVs or list subscriptions
  20. would be good.  You could include a bill number, "yes" or "no" and
  21. perhaps your Congresscritter's name.
  22. An automated request for information about current bills and information
  23. about them would be great also.

  25. Several months ago there was some discussion in news.groups about
  26. starting a Congressional news newsgroup.  I still think that would be a
  27. great idea to help us keep abreast of what our representatives are
  28. doing, discuss bills, appointments, junkets, etc.

  30. Usenet and Internet users are a very small percentage of the entire
  31. population, but _generally_ are more well educated and interested in
  32. what's going on in the world than the population in general.
  33. I guess no flame retardant is needed for the above, since everyone
  34. reading this is in the above group.  :-)

  36. BTW, I removed all groups but one in the newsgroups line because of
  37. local restrictions on groups.
