  15. I tried to install Taylor UUCP (gamma 1.04) on our Ultrix 4 DECsystem,
  16. which compiled fine (with a few warnings, but mostly not worrying ones).
  17. However, when I try to run uucico (from a shell and as the shell invoked
  18. by /bin/login), it exits before even saying "Shere". 
  19.  
  20. Can anyone point me to the problem (I already checked the docs and the
  21. man pages)? Please answer by mail. Thanks.

  25. PS: I use ULTRIX_SPOOLDIR and TAYLOR_CONFIG, in case you were going to
  26.     ask... AND the original uucp binaries are still where they are sup-
  27.     posed to be... I have only incoming uucp connections, there is no
  28.     dialing out to be handled.
