- I have a strange problem that I'm having difficulty tracking down. I'm
- using v6.11 ALPHA of sendmail and I find that when sendmail is started from
- the /etc/rc.* scripts upon boot-up, the sendmail is in a strange state where
- it seems to be operating normally, but doesn't recognize any users. I can
- telnet to the SMTP port, but a VRFY root or a VRFY weisen comes back with
- the user unknown....no such file or directory error. Anyone have any
- debugging tips?
