- Hello,
-
- I'm not a regular to this list, but I have a simple question: how
- can I hide (or rename) all of this addresses in my To: or Cc: lists?
-
- I use the basic "mail" program on UNIX and I have a very detailed
- .mailrc file with several large aliases. It is a real pain for my
- readers to scan through a header that is often an order of magnitude
- larger than the actual message. Is there a way to hide the To: (and Cc:)
- lines of the header, or better yet, to give the whole list a logical
- name that is used in the To: and Cc: lines?
-
- I know this is possible in the /etc/aliases file, but I have no
- control over that file. Is their a mechanism I can use on my
- personal .mailrc file?
-
- Thanks,
- Bryan Basham
