  12. For organising conference and advertising our courses I have to create
  13. mailshot lists from accumulated email, and I'd like to find a cleaner
  14. way of doing it. The accumulated email comes from various people with
  15. various systems (mail, MH, Poplog) and often involves duplicates.

  17. What I've been doing is:

  19. * extract the From: lines with fgrep
  20. * isolate the addresses using emacs keyboard macros
  21. * remove spaces with emacs 
  22. * change everything to lower case
  23. * remove duplicate addresses using uniq
  24. * sort using sort 
  25.  
  26. Does anyone have any scripts etc. which do a clean job?
