  18. Well, sound and graphics are on News today, uuencoded.  And, I would guess
  19. that the 'normal' rule of thumb that signatures shouldn't be over 4 lines
  20. (<320 bytes) still applies, so graphics/sound in signatures will be frowned
  21. upon.

  23. The main advantage I see is that News will be character set independant -
  24. which is more or less a MUST for everybody except americans. :)

  27. Anybody thought about modifying the GNUS to Lucid Emacs to do MIME?  It
  28. shouldn't be too difficult by using Lucid Emacs 'faces'.
