- Dear Netters,
-
- I use both mail (mailx) and elm regularly and I think
- I am proficient enough to customize them through changing
- the .mailrc and writing scripts.
-
- Here is my question:
-
- 1. How can I automate my mail program (either of them is
- fine) to automatically send me a blind carbon copy (bcc:)
- of each mail I sent out?
-
- 2. How can I cancel and copy (while the mail is still in queue
- of my file system) the mail I've sent out (say just 30 seconds
- ago)?
-
- As of to date, I had to manually issue a command to instruct
- it to do so through, for instance "~b" in mail. And for the
- second question, I was able to access mails that was sent to
- me by scanning through /etc/spool/mail and matching with my
- user id.
-
- I'd appreciate your response. Please send e-mail to me.
-
- Edwin
