  14. Two questions please:

  16. 1) MPWPerl has a 411 info help file but I did not get any index nor
  17. can I find an 'indexer' program on my ETO CD-ROM.  Does anyone know
  18. how to make the index or where it can be obtained?

  20. 2) I am a serious AWK programmer of some years.  I am having a 
  21. little difficulty getting into Perl (mostly due to time constraints)
  22. but I have this belief that Perl is AWK only (a whole lot?) better.

  24. Is this about right?  Will I be disappointed?  Or is this so an
  25. incredibly naive question that impugns Perl?
