  22. This reminds me of something I've been meaning to bring up for a
  23. while.  Why don't we put together a Perl service directory, listing
  24. individuals and companies who are willing to support Perl, free or for
  25. a fee, like the etc/SERVICE file in the Emacs distribution?  This
  26. strikes me as a good way to add credibility for the benefit of people
  27. like Bob mentions above, as well as a nice way for some of us to earn
  28. a little extra income.

  30. If anyone is interested in maintaining such a file, please speak up.
  31. If no one offers to do it within a week or so, I'll offer to do it
  32. myself, if the consensus is that it's a good idea.
