  18. I agree and was nervous about starting or joining in discussions. A conclusion
  19. that I did reach was the dead nature of the newsgroup, so does some traffic
  20. really matter?

  22. Is the discussion of apparently boring subjects always to be avoided? I find
  23. that gems do sometimes arise from totally unexpected sources.

  25. If the group doesn't go quiet again fairly quickly or silly things are
  26. discussed at length in open group I am on your side.

  28. Does your newreader have a facility which invokes junking of articles if a
  29. subject line matches the text of a marked thread? <rhetorical question>
