  11.     We need to control 16 modems and a SCSI interface.  The data 
  12. from the modems is to be sent via SCSI to a Unix host.  The bus is 
  13. an ISA passive backplane.

  15.     Any recommendations for a controller card?  The people on the 
  16. project are most comfortable with Intel 80x86 processors, but the 
  17. programmer is pretty sharp and says he wouldn't mind doing it in 
  18. Forth.  The device driver on the Unix side will be written in C, 
  19. though.

  21.     As usual, development time is our primary concern.
